It starts today, and this time I mean it

Hi, I my name is Christine. I consider myself pretty averagely healthy. I am 5'8" and weigh in at about 153. I have a pretty realistic goal ( at least I think it is realistic) to hit 138 by June 2014. I was my lowest weight at my wedding in June 2012. I was right around 140. Since then my weight has crept up... about 15 pounds! I think I have had quite a lack of motivation. I have been trying on and off for the last year or so to get back down to that ideal 138 but I have failed. I come to the forum to share this becuase I could use some motivation to be the best and healthiest me. I love to exercise..particularly run, play soccer, and bike ride. I plan to keep that up along with eating healthier than I currently am to get to my goals. My weaknesses are sweets and fast food both of which are ve ry unhealthy. I plan to still eat these things but in moderation and try to increase the fruits and vegetables. I really want to be as healthy as I can be before my husband and I start having babies which is a huge motivation.

    It start today, for me everyday! I know how you feel, I've gained 20 pounds since my wedding 9 yrs. ago and I want to lose 30. My ticker says I lost 17 pound and I did since the first of the year, not alot. But I'm hoping to lose another 17 before April. You can add me if you want. Good luck to the both of us! :flowerforyou:
