TOM is missing!

Yeah, put up the missing 'persons' flyer.

I've been steadily losing weight, upped my calorie intake to 1450 about a month ago, and I'm currently a 22y/o, 168cm, 63kg girl who actively exercises, eats RELATIVELY healthily (i love my cakes and cookies!) and obviously not underweight. I'm actually looking to lose another 3 - 5kg, but I'm not in a hurry for it now.

Here's my problem. I've always been regular, until I first started losing weight. I initially thought the first month I missed it is fine... until it stopped coming for a good 4 or so months now. I don't keep track cause its usually regular, so I can't give a definite 'how long its been gone', but I can't remember the last time I had it. A couple of months at least.

I've had people tell me its just hormonal changes and that it'll even out in abit, butttt I don't know. Dx

If you are certain that its not pregnancy then it could be a hormonal problem. Same thing happened to me about 3 yrs ago except I missed mine for almost 8 months with a lot of weight gain and after a visit to the doctor I was diagnosed with Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) which is related to hormone imbalance. Watch out for accompanying symptoms like acne, mood swings. I would suggest that you make a visit to your doctor for some tests. Hopefully its nothing serious, good luck.

Posting here is not going to get the answer you seek. Go see a professional.

I agree that you should see a doctor, and not maybe in a little while. ASAP...you want to get this figured out. Hormonal issues are really such a pain to deal with.

I agree! Get to your doctor. There are plenty of things it could be including low thyroid. Good luck with it.
  • I struggled with this and I was diagnosed with hypothalamic amenorrhea. Once I put on weight I got healthy again :-) definitely see your doc and get blood work done x
