Intermittent Fasting

I've been doing this for quite a while now, and the result are as you expect them to be. I usually get branded 'silly' for 'starving' myself but people just don't understand :P
Anyway I was just wondering If there's anyone else on here that commit to this as well?

What form of IF are you doing? Leangains, Eat-Stop-Eat, JUDDD, 5:2?0

I've literally just started IF (I'm on day 6), and I'm doing the restricted hours version. I'm eating TDEE +300 (bulking) daily but only eating between 12-1pm and 8pm. I decided to switch over to this when I couldn't control my appetite, once I'd had breakfast for the day I was just continuously hungry.
I'm finding the IF is really helping with both sticking to my calories and increasing my fluid intake. I'm sipping water all morning which is making a big difference. I have to say that I have less and less "OMG I need to eat now or I'm going to collapse" moments already. I'm hoping these pass completely as I continue.0 -
I've been IFing for a little over a year, 20/4 tuesday-friday as I don't take anything to work and 16/8 saturday-monday. When I first started, I had all the comments you're probably receiving but some people just aren't open to new ideas.0

I've been doing IF for about 2 weeks, 18/6.0

Been doing it for like 6 months. Either fasting for 20h eating for 4 or fasting 18h and eating for 6, depending what my day schedule happens to be. And imma keep doing it. I like it mainly cos it gives me more energy all though the day than other types of eating.0

Been doing LeanGains for almost 3 months.
There is an IF group, and the link was given,
You should join.0 -
I´m alternating between 18/6 and 5:2, and it works for me. This is the only plan I feel like I can support as a lifestyle, and maintain.0

IF has been shown clinically to be very beneficial health-wise for men and for women who are OBESE. But once a woman is not obese, or isn't obese to begin with, IF has negative health results. You can read this article that explains it better than I, at this link...

I did alternate day intermittent fasting (JUDDD) for weight loss, and now do 8/16 as part of my maintenance plan I love IF and will probably do it in some form for the rest of my life!0

I have been following the 5-2 strategie since March 2013and have found it sucessful.0

I've only just seen the replies. Yeah I use to fast for 18 hours and have 6 hour eating window, but because of work I've had to adjust to 16:8. I basically Eat stop Eat. two meals a day, 1900 calories simply because i'm cutting. I'm also eating to some reasonably set macros.0
