Gaining muscle, second time round

I'm off to the gym for the first time in about 4 years tonight hoping to get back to the condition I was before I quit. Was just wondering if I'm likely to get to where I want to be quicker than the first time round.
Luckily I have managed to keep a lot of the bulk on (only lost a few inches), just lost all definition.

Most likely you'll gain the majority of your previous muscle very quickly. Protein?0

Yep. Muscle memory my friend. You should gain quite quickly as long as you put in the work and EAT, EAT, EAT0

Thanks for the replies. I was thinking that would be the answer, but wasn't sure whether I had left it too late and would have to start over. I hope to get fairly good result by next summer.
I will definately be putting in the work and eating0
