Need BOOBIE help

Hi MFP:
This goes out to all of my plus size pals with breasts in the 42DD and up range. Will your breasts actually go down in size if you lose 60+ pounds or will they remain the same size with a few inches off here and there? I know it seems like a silly question, but I am wondering if I lose 100 pounds, will I still have these big old plus size boobies attached to my new frame or will they drop in size proportionate to my new weight? Anyone got any experience with this? I put major focus on my chest and arms during my workouts. I do about 40 push ups a day, plus weight lifting. I have lost 20 pounds so far and I have 80 more to go. My boobies look exactly the same with very little change in actual girth. I know they are still probably going to be floppy and poorly shaped, there is nothing I can do about that. But I at least need them to be smaller.

Mine changed. . I do plan on going under the surgeon's knife at goal though because I like the size and fullness0

I think it is an individual thing. I lost over 50 pounds and went from 44DDD to 38D. So my experience was yes... good luck.!0

There are excersizes in strength training that will make them in better shape. Can't name them, but they perk up the twins. I'm sure if they will downsize, they'll be a lot firmer then they would be at the moment. Mine I believe are shrinking but they are perking up. I like it better this way even if they would downsize (from a 36c). Sorry, I don't fit the big size league.0

Mine went down from a 40 DD to a 36 D. And at my smallest, they were filling out a 34 C. They do shrink, just slowly. Boobs have A LOT of concentrated fat, so that's going to be slow going off.0
-
I have lost 100+ 2x before and I went from 44DD to 38D both times. Good luck0
-
I've lost 30 lbs. and while mine seem smaller, I still fit into a DD cup comfortably, but my band size has went from 36 to a 32.0
-
40DD to 36D too. They look so much better in a bra and in pictures,0

Mine went from a 40E to a 34FF. It really just depends on the person and their body type. The cup size obviously didn't change drastically, but they definitely appeared to get a lot smaller and just looked less fatty (if that makes sense). You're boobs will change with your body, don't worry! :flowerforyou:0

I've gone from a 42DDD to a 36DD, and probably smaller than that by now.. my bra is a bit loose.0 -
I only lost band size. I went from a 38DD to a 34DD-36DD (depending on brand).0
-
thought about it - would rather this not be on the internet lol.0

So, what's the likelihood of boobs deflating and looking saggy at the end of a 100 lb loss? As much as I need my boobs to get smaller too (back problems!) I'm terrified that when I reach goal they're going to look droopy and sad.0

my boobs are the first to go...wwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!0

This thread makes me sad.:frown:-1
-
I went from a 34DD to a 32B/C. So in my case, yes, they shrunk and are more proportionate.0
-
If you gained fat in them when you put on weight, then they will shrink. The amount of actual breast tissue should stay the same.
I went from a 38DD to a 34D.0 -
Mine go at the same rate as my hips, so pretty consistently throughout losing weight. They are programmed to be the same measurement, apparently
When I lose enough BF, I'm all muscle in the hips and only then do the boobs get to a smaller measurement. They just keep on going, too. That's why I don't want to be a very low BF%. I like my boobs And I wish the hips went after my midsection! That's the part I want to go away the most.0 -

I think this varies from person to person.....if your boobs are "fat" vs. actual mammary tissue - i have lost both band and boobs -0 -
I only ever lose band size, at my thinest i looked like barbie, its ridiculous.0
-
It took 40 pounds to finally get a smaller bra size...and even then it was just the band. So far they are still DD...just 38DD instead of 40DD. I have another 30 pounds to go and am hoping to at least get down to D...was really hoping for C, but I think that might be pushing it.0
-
I've dropped 28lbs since July 2013 & went from a 38DD to a 34C. I lost a ton! I will def need a breast lift after baby #2!0
-
I saw the title and was thinking I should be in this thread. Lol. Mine always grow and shrink as my weight fluctuates, but no matter how skinny I get, they never get smaller than DDD. Sigh. Also, they are the first thing to go in terms of fat loss. Sometimes big boobs are just in your genes.0

MIne too0 -
Cup size is dependent on band size - a DD cup on a 36 band is smaller than a DD cup on a 42.
That was just informative, for people who think that their breasts stayed the same because the letter is the same.
How much your breasts change size and shape will depend greatly on how much breast tissue you have compared to fat in your breasts. As will how they hold their shape.
When I started losing a year ago, I was in a 42H. At the end of January, I was fitted into a 38K, so my band size had gone down but breast size stayed about the same, volumetrically. I'm now 85 pounds down from this time last year and am in a 34DD. And my breasts look like sad little pancakes stapled to my torso. I will offer the advice that if you're planning to lose a lot of weight, you have one bra at a time that fits really well. Better to have to rinse that one out in the sink every night and wear it every day than to spend a LOT of money on several good bras that you will shrink out of in a month and have to replace.0 -
I went from a 38-40 D- DD and am now a 34B. Didnt make my husband happy :grumble:0

This is why I never want to be too skinny. My old coworkers used to be like, " do not touch black Barbie or she will tip over! " this was when I was much skinnier. I was not amused. :mad:0 -
Well, my friend - U should not really worry. Just keep doing what U R doing, and I BELIEVE everything will fall into place almost perfectly, if not completely PERFECTLY!!! JUST BE SURE TO WEAR A GOOD SPORT BRA.... something really supportive, to hold the ladies in place. (The more movement..... the more chance of loss in that area). I love to run, so I love dropping bra sizes. STAY POSITIVE in your mind... spirit... and HEAD that U have this thing down!!!! U will see some toning in those areas, however if U R doing all those extra TARGET exercises.... U R building in areas where loss would be really pronounced. It might be helpful t talk to a Trainer..... a lady trainer if U have access to one. Your "overall" goal will be achieved, because U will STAY FOCUSED, POSITIVE, AND OPEN TO THE CHANGE YOUR CONTINUAL JOURNEY GIVES YOU. Also, know that when the full 100 is gone U CAN MAKE ADJUSTMENTS IN YOUR ROUTINE TO BUILD UP AND/OR TONE DOWN THAT AREA. I lost a lot of Back Fat earlier on, so I am yet working on that. My front is fine, and I run a lot. I will have only a teaspoon of skin when I transform..... and I don't mind the skin or weight loss in feminine areas because I want to be slender and healthy. I can always buy foundations and under garments to enhance and give the illusion I want to present. While Wellness is my overall focus, I have a strong desire to "SHOCK" a few people who have given up on me, and thrown me away. Sooooooo, I am focused as never before. :-) I can see my X trying to get his mouth to close the 1st time he sees this SIster. LOL!!!! I hope this has helped U dear heart. U R amazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzing, and GOD IS STILL WORKING ON U! He loves us - and wants to help us achieve all our fitness goals. U R an ORIGINAL! Keep rocking it!!!!!! Hydrate! Hydrate! Hydrate!!!!!!!0

This is a question I asked myself also. I know my 44DD have shrank to a 38DD. And my bra's fit so much better now! I really think that most Boobies are proportionate to the amount of weight you are carrying. Honest before boob jobs were all around us, very very few women had huge tata's and a small frame. Not saying there aren't any but not as many. SO I would say that yes they will shrink, the fat will leave them. But I am sure they will still look good on your new body! Also my nutritionist says we lose weight from the top down!0

Mine went from a 44H to a 36G currently. I still have alot to lose so I'm sure they will get smaller. I did not have to get a new bra until I had lost about 50. The next 50 made them loose fullness and I no longer have that push up cleavage look. So as your body shrinks so do the girls but its all proportionate, they still look big compared to my smaller body. Don't fret you will look great.0
