Hi all, Thanks for looking. I am looking for a few awesome people to help me along my journey and in return I can help you. I need to drop about 100 pounds and started HCG today. I have done this diet before and lost a lot of weight..
I stopped smoking and gained about 35 pounds...geez!!! who ever said 10 pounds was the amount. I also was going through a lot of job stress... I no longer have that job, anyway started my journey today... I can barely walk without my back killing me...
If you are on HCG...This would be better but not required

I tried HCG 1234 and did not stick with it. I lost about 10lbs and then quit, and I ended up gaining all my weight back plus more. It was not for me. I am just eating alot less calories on my own and not really on any specific diet. Just counting calories. Seems to be working for me, lost 13lbs so far. Good luck though. If you have the power to stay with it than that is awesome! Best of luck to you!0

Welcome !
My friend sent me the link to this site yesterday and it is really neat. I also have 100 pounds to lose and would love some support as well.
I am using this site, and the weight watchers online site as well. I didn't know about this one when I signed up for WW - if I had, I wouldn't have bothered. I have been doing pretty good as am on day 17 of my plan and have lost 12 pounds ... I know the weight loss will slow down soon so having a few friends online might help make it a bit easier.
Take Care,
Wendy0 -

Great, now I have the sound of that cat saying "NO NO NO NO" stuck in my head.....=P
Also....OP this is an extremely unhealthy/dangerous "diet". Please do some research on this before continuing.0 -
Please don't do that to yourself . There are plenty of successful people who have lost 100+ who just cut calories back... there's no reason to starve yourself.0

thanks for pointing out why not to do this! However I along with I am sure the poster would appreciate some sound advice that is contrary to this. You really should have used the search button... Not going to end well.
I have never used HCG and it has cost me my relationship with my mom and best friend. In fact my best friend of 16 years got married last week and I didn't even know about it until the day of. I spent the day with a very heavy heart... Many people here know about the battle with my mom and best friend that chose to take HCG to a stupid level, losing too much weight, throwing away thousands of dollars and even causing my mom to get dangerously sick. Thanks to a crooked medical clinic that put them on a dangerous diet and my urges for them to stop cost us our relationships. I have NO relationship with my mom anymore and my best friend no longer speaks to me because she works for the HCG clinic. Both refused to look that the information I provided them on the dangers and both chose to end our relationships rather than quitting the HCG fad.
Just eat well and exercise, it's healthier and easier.0 -

Hello all, as i read your posts, i am glad i am not alone in my quest to lose 170 pounds. I have a long way to go, but i am taking it one step at at time.0
-
My father-in-law lost 50 lbs with HCG. Now he's gained it back and more. But since he lost the weight by eating 500 calories per day he lost a big chunk of muscle, which includes his heart, and now he's having all kinds of heart issues and needs physical therapy to rebuild a small portion of the skeletal muscle he lost.
Please consider an alternate method for losing weight. HCG is very very bad.0 -

How is it confusing? If you need to eat 1700 calories a day to create a deficit, that's what you do. This site is created around that premise, use the tools, succeed.
To the first poster - you lose weight because you eat at a deficit. HCG is a dangerous, restrictive "diet" plan.0 -

If eat right and exercise are too confusing for you, I'm not going to waste my time trying to explain it to you. JSF0 -
Highly recommend using a different strategy to lose the weight. You might lose it for a while, but it will come back, because you won't have made a sustainable, practice-every-day-able change in your life.
And why bother putting yourself at risk for a short-term result that won't last?
Do yourself a favor and do a little more research to find something that fits your style AND that you can make 'stick.' That might be committing yourself to calorie-counting (and actually figuring out how much you can eat, you'll be SO pleasantly surprised that when you eat more, you will lose faster), or even something like paleo or primal, where the emphasis isn't so much on calorie counting as it is on choosing certain foods over others..
Ask yourself why you're really doing this. Do you want to look good naked? HCG is definitely not the way to go if that's the goal. Do you want to have more energy? HCG STILL isn't the way to go. Do you have a lot of health problems right now that will be helped by losing the weight? In this case, HCG is one of the things that you should do... if you want to end up in the ER.
You're going to get a lot of people telling you not to do this. Mostly because it's a terrible thing to do to your precious body, no matter what the people trying to sell it to you say. You only get one body, take good care of it!0 -
I'm not one to tell anyone what to do, just want to share an experience. I used the all natural HCG drops that go under your tongue along with the 500 cal diet per doctor request. I was on it about a month and lost about 25 lbs which is all great and grand, until I no longer had the desire to eat, I had to force feed myself and then many times became sick because it felt like I overate. I never had any energy, and just felt weak. I decided to stop the diet and was able to eat about a week later, but since that day I can't seem to eat enough food to be over my bmr and now when I eat the calories I'm suppose to I gain weight. I just want you to be aware of possible situations that may occur, and you may have great luck with it. Just take any signs seriously. Good luck!0
-
IT has taken me about 18 months to lose 100 pounds. I did it by eating well and healthy. I did it by lifting heavy weight and running. I eat between 1700 - 1800 calories a day. It can be done without drugs or gimmicks. Good luck.0

Use the HCG diet if you want to lose 100 pounds. And gain back 175.0

She wants a "quick fix" though....while I know what you are saying is the best/only/right way to a healthier body and life - she isn't ready to accept that yet, if this is the type of thing she is willing to try.0 -

I'll add one more to these:
http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/952996-level-obstacles-lose-weight-target-fat-easy0 -
I would also like to add that if you had the patience and willpower to quick smoking, then you can definitely do this the healthy way. You do not need to resort to HCG.0
-
I quit smoking 7 weeks ago after 20 years. If you are willing to eat 500 cals/day, why not try 5:2 first? I'm not saying that it's perfectly safe, but prob safer than injecting chemicals from urine or whatever.0
-
I have done 2 rounds on HCG, I am just ending P3 on my second round. I have lost 75 pounds. I will be using the Garcinia Cambogia to lose the last 5 pounds. I am here if you need a positive and supportive friend.....I love the HCG, and the health and renewed life it has helped me to achieve.0
-
No.
Also im pretty sure this is against forum rules
It is. HcG is really not a good idea, and this conversation has a good chance of getting shut down. It is against the rules to promote diets harmful to ones health (like the HcG.)
I found a natural way to increase my HcG levels, had higher levels of it for about 6+ weeks now and am still not losing weight - dang it!0
