Err. Of course it's not impossible.0

If it were impossible, how would people with flat stomachs exist? :huh:0
-
Yes.0

Of course it's not impossible! It just takes a lot of effort. Eat healthy and exercise, and soon you'll start noticing changes0
-
I really hope not, as I am working my way there, slow but surely. Tummy is the only thing left to finish filing the fat off.0
-
no
just requires a lot of work0 -
Yes...but then again, I don't have that kind of dedication.0

some of the answers are confusing. is it possible or not to have a flat belly without surgery is all i am asking0

lipo or tummy tuck?0 -
I've seen people with very flat stomachs -- no surgery needed. Everyone's body is different, too...0
-
No. I don't have ripped abs, but my stomach is definitely flat. No surgery, just hard work0

There are probably a billion people out there with "flat" stomachs and no surgery.
Unless by "flat" you mean perfectly flat from groin to rib cage, which is weird can't really be achieved through surgery.
Edit: Lipo wouldn't do it. But I suppose you could get a wide implant just below the skin to provide a perfectly flat plane, in places where plastic surgery is unregulated.0 -
just reduce body fat by reducing carbohydrates. mine is coming along. not there quite yet. having to combine a lot of new exercises.
crunches, heavy bag, swimming, etc. but they key is losing body fat.0 -
Well, you can't spot reduce, but you should be able to achieve a fairly flat stomach. However, it will depend on your body type and you do have a stomach and other abdominal organs, so no, you'll never be completely flat.0

I suppose but after my 2 pregnancies 19 months apart and the 30 lbs weight gain Id have to say for myself not likely , your skin may go back but the muscles not exactly , I just want a smaller stomach not a flat one personally I have a smaller one after my 30 lbs loss have 16 to go so Id imagine it will shrink even more . Before my daughters it wasn't flat and I was thin so its just genetics for me .0

It's possible through hard work and dedication. Get your BFP down to a low level and you'll have a flat stomach. Just as some of the trainers at my gym who all have 6 packs, women included...0

Get extremely dedicated to what you eat. Eat alot but make sure to not take in sugars and work abs intense 3 to 4 days out fo the week. and RUN or SPRINT is even better. Leg raises and cable crunches. Just try to keep a tight stomach!0

Yea do it after your ab workout and suck it in real deep for a minute. And just try to keep it tight as much as you can it helps keep it flat. Also remember if you drink a lot of water you might just have water weight if your not doing really intense workouts that use the stored water.0 -
Genetics plays a role in where you store your fat, I believe. Some people just store their fat around their midsection, so at the exact same height, weight, and body fat % as someone else you could have a pudgy belly while the other person has a "flat" one. I'm one of these people. At my lowest weight I'm on the fence between overweight and healthy BMI, and I noticed my hips and thighs shrinking, but my belly still protrudes. Only way to get rid of it is to reduce body fat % further. So.. trying to lose at least 15 more lbs or whatever number is takes to not have a pudgy belly!
I don't think it's impossible.0 -

I agree there's probably a billion people out there with flat stomachs and no surgery. How do you think people from back before lipo and tummy tuck was invented had a flat stomach? Lol. It's genetics too. Some people store (pear shape) store their fat more on their thighs and butt rather than their abs so they usually achieve flat stomach easier than (apple shape) people.
I have flat stomach and I'm not even skinny.0 -

Just lay facedown on a flat surface. It will save you months of dieting!0
-
Yes, no one on the planet has ever gotten a flat stomach without lipo. Sorry.0
-
You can do it, just keep losing fat and eventually you'll get there. Some people [such as myself] have to work a lot harder, but it is definitely possible if you don't give up.0

I went from a 35w to 29w in 5 months. I am not getting any smaller. Would look bad. I buy my pants in the boys dept. I'm 47. It is possible. Women see me going in and out of the dressing rooms. I hear them, "wish my husband could shop in here.". Smile and wave. You gotta love that stuff. It's really what all this work is all about. :-)0
