I am a strong beliver, you get what you pay for. I bought comerical scales years ago that would handle 400lbs. I was 365 at the times, but wanted something that was accurate. To this day, they are skill working and still accurate. Just make sure they are the type can can be zeroed out before you get on and chances are they will be good for you. Also, if you stand on them, how many pounds do they shift on you. they shouldn't shift more that 1/2 a lb at the most.0

I quite like the OMRON digital scales as it measures your body fat too. Plus I have a high blood pressure monitor by Omron and I thought it a good brand since hospitals use the brand (in UK).0

I saw the WW scales on clearance at Target over the weekend.0

I have the weight watchers digital scale from walmart too. It's really great. But to be honest, all scales are different, so no matter what scale you get on (dr office, one at work, friends scale, etc.) they all say something different. Try to weigh in JUST your scale when you do get one. I love the digital ones by the way! SO nice!!0

As one of the post states, "you get what you pay for".
I got a scale from Sam's Club several years ago, it was one of the scales that business uses.
The scale so far have worked without any issues, and I now use one of my dumb weight to zero my scale.
I had several digital scales in the past, only to see the LED going bad (not showing any digits accurately).
Good luck in finding a scale......0 -
buy digital and never buy a crappy super cheap analog scale. thats what mine is and it sucks. i can never quite tell what its sitting on and i have to recalibrate it all the time.0
