    For some reason I was highly confident the OP was going to be scared away from using the Alli, but now I'm not as certain.

    Just don't wear a thong! If you fart, it will be equivalent to that of sticking your thumb over the end of a hose and turning the water on full blast!

    I took Xenical (RX) when it first came out!! Didnt lose much weight, but had to buy a ton of new underwear. No joke, you had to pitch them!! GROSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I took it for maybe a week when I was in my 20's and though it wasn't quite as bad for me, my inner workings were messed up for a very long time after I stopped. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone honestly.

    Several people in my office are currently either taking Alli or doing juice 'cleanses' to attempt to shed weight for Christmas. I have taken to using the toilets on the next floor up as the smell and pebbledash poo staining in the ones nearest is disgusting. Not good!

    Whatever happened to healthy diets and exercise? You know what will work better then alli? Find out what your TDEE is, and eat less then it :)

    I seriously will never understand why people want to use a product that makes your butt drip grease and makes you *kitten* your pants. I have never once in my life thought - I never *kitten* my pants now that I'm an adult - I think I'll start taking a pill to fix that.

    I took it the first month I was here. I was so scared of side affects, that I ate almost zero fat for a month. I lost weight, but it was from the calorie deficit I created. I started doing research, and quickly found out I was being an idiot.

    Same here. I was beginning to think I was strange or something because my experience was so different from most of the other posters. I tried one bottle - can't remember how much I paid - but didn't notice any significant weight loss that I can attribute to it nor did I have any of the side effects mentioned on here or outlined by alli, which I believe was because I already had very little fat in my diet.
