What's your weight, weight lost per week, exercise, and daily calories? I'm trying to figure out what's a good amount for me to eat.

It doesn't matter what anyone else does or eats. You need to use your own stats to figure out what is right for you. Put your numbers into MFP or chose one of the many online calculators to arrive at YOUR number.0

i am 5.2 ft and when i was losing, i ate min 1200 to 1450 cals a day. My base was 1200 and i ate back min half my exercise cals. i only lost 1.5 lbs a month max ever! slow and steady! i was 142 lbs and now maintaining at 115. my daily cals now are 15-1700. my exercise changed every few months, and i do home exercise dvd programs, they work best for me!
how tall are you, how much do you want to lose?0 -
Great info and tools to figure that out right here: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/974888-in-place-of-a-road-map-2k13
Or just go with MFP, log all your food and exercise and eat back those exercise cals. Works great.0 -
Just to demonstrate how different it is for everyone, based on energy expenditure and a slew of other factors. I lose a pound a week at 3,000 daily. Maintain at 3,500-4,000 daily. 5'10" 192lbs.0

I consume 1900. Perhaps you might want to ask how many calories a person burns a day.
I have maintained my loss for over a year now.

Im 5'5" tall. 138 pounds. On my rest days I eat 1200 calories and on the days I work out between 1400-1600. I have no friends on here yet. Lol. Feel free to add me. I have made my food and exercise diary accessible to people. I love to cook and have some amazing recipes. I have trouble eating 1200 calories and I eat all day.0

I'm 5'7" 153 lbs now
my lifestyle is sedentary on MFP so I'm supposed to eat 1380 calories which is what I eat most days
when i workout I eat back all of the calories.
I'm supposed to lose 1 lb a week but I've been losing more than that so I'd assume my body actually needs more than my body thinks MFP thinks it does.0 -

5'7" I'm losing on 2000 net calories\day. Right now I lift heavy for an hour twice every 9 days due to my odd work schedule. I'm also hypothyroid.0
