I put honey in my tea and drink organic pear juice. I think they are very worth it for me.0

A frappuccino from Starbucks is totally worth it. 'Tis the season for the salted caramel mocha, and grande without whip is ~300 cals and is worth every single calorie to me. Obviously not daily. But once or twice a month for sure.0

90 or so of those calories came from skim milk...I think a latte is a tasty way to enjoy some cow juice :0)
And there's protein to boot!
Personally, I don't use my calories on alcohol. It's whatever you like really... it's your calories.0 -

*shrug* To each their own. If I want a french vanilla cappucino from Tim Horton's, and it fits into my calorie allowance, I'm going to have it. Is it a "waste"? Maybe, in some peoples' eyes. But that's for each individual to decide.0

It is personal preference. To me drinking calories isn't a waste. I have near 3000 calories to work with so I get plenty of solid food and I am never hungry.

I was just given a Cappuccino (Cappuccino, Skim Milk, 1 Sugar, 1 Mug (275ml) then I logged it, and to my shock, 111 calories!
It's just not worth it, I could of used those 111 calories on good solid food, I think for now I just stick to my water, green tea, and coke zeros. Drinking anything else just uses up calories and would probably make you very hungry because you have less room for food.

I drink a non-fat caramel latte in the morning about 3 days a week. It's 140 calories and I really enjoy it.
Coke Zero, on the other hand may be calorie free, but tastes like battery acid and aspartame.0 -

When I first started on this website my goal was 1200 cals a day...I lost weight...I have been maintaining for nearly a year after learning about the calorific content of foods and the benefits of exercise.

Maybe, but I kinda doubt it. He's still trying to lose around 50lbs and 1400ish calories is low for any typical male. If he doesn't want to eat more than that, then that is fine, his body his choice, but I still wouldn't feel right unless I suggested he take a look at it and reassess.0
