So, a friend of mine cleaned out her closets, and sent me 2 huge bags of clothes. (My poor closet was looking empty) In them were 2 pair of size 8 pants, one coral skinny jeans, and one brand new jeans with tags still on- lol. But anyhow, tried the coral ones on, and THEY FIT!!! My goal has been to fit into 8s. I think that means I'm there! Leaving my calories where they are for the holidays, (I'm only at a 250 per day deficit anyway) I kept waiting for the scale to go down, and see sme magic number, but it's not about the number on the scale. Feeling amazing today.
One year ago, I bought a pair of pants in a size 20. I was not happy. It took a few months to decide to do something about it, but . It was so worth it!

Congratulations! You're right that the number on the scale isn't what's important: it's how you feel, your energy levels, your food choices, and how you want to live your life.0

Your story is AWESOME!! Way to go! you are exactly right about the number on the scale. It truly doesn't matter. Its all about feeling better and if your happy A little at a time goes along way. It is a lifestyle change not a diet. The slower you get there the more likely you won't look back!0

Thanks everyone! Fit into the other pair of 8s today. . Does it sound about right to leave my calories at "lose 1/2 pound" throughout the holidays? Then move them up to maintenance after that? I don't want to gain it back this time.0

Congrats!! That's so exciting!!
That's where my cals are at the moment, only because I know I'll be indulging on Thanksgiving, XMas, a few other days in between for parties, etc. I'm going to eat less than maintenance for a few months to even it all out.0 -
Brava!! Way to go!0

Congratulations on your weight loss!
Now, when you pass by those holiday spreads of goodies, remember:
"Nothing tastes as good as SIZE 8 CORAL JEANS feel..."
Best wishes!0
