I started 6/16/11. On 3/24/2012, I was down 100 pounds...so, a little more than 9 months (wow! I didn't realize how fast that went). On my one-year MFP anniversary, I was down 120 pounds. I hit my goal weight on 9/23/12, 15 months after starting. I've been maintaining ever since.
My blog has oodles of tips: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/ShannonMpls
Specifically, look at these entries:

Yep, I did it and still losing! I am the slowest at losing but I have learned to maintain during my times of plateau. It has been a 3 year process and I am never going back.0

Love this thread! Thanks for posting!0

I lost 92lbs in 12 months and then it took me about 3 more months to lose the last 9-10lbs.(I keep within a 4lb range these days give or take) The last 10lbs were the most difficult though.0

It's taken me 4 years total to lose my weight, but I would lose then maintain then lose and maintain because the last thing I want is it coming back. I don't know how much more I want to lose but even when the scale doesn't move now, I'm ok with it.0

Bumping to follow :-)0

I lost the first 100 lbs in 4 1/2 months the second 100 has taken me a litle over 8 months. Stay the course you can do this!0
-
It took me just under a year to lose 100 and just have 20 to go! I ate most of my normal foods and didn't deprive myself. I just ate in moderation and I do lots of recipe makeovers! I'm having cake and icing tonight!0

I haven't hit 100 yet but from my all-time highest weight of 307 to this morning's 211 weigh-in it's 96 lb
It took me over three years to lose the first 35 lb (mostly through walking and drinking more water, almost no dietary changes)
The next 10 lb was lost in about one year, of dietary changes only (less meat, less processed food, but little to no exercise at all)
Then I joined MFP on March 25, 2013 and as you can see I have lost 49 so far...actually 51 lb, but I haven't updated my current weight. That's been through daily honest logging and a reasonable amount of exercise but nothing too strenuous or organized (ie, I don't go to a gym, just walk several days a week and then hike or bike and/or play tennis casually on weekends)
I'd like to get down in the 170-180 range in the next year. Not sure if I want to go any lower, though.0 -
Its taken me 8 months0

I started losing in April. As of Friday, I'd lost 109 lbs in 33 weeks (7.5 months)0
-
I lost 207 in 15 months, and put on about 35 as I struggled to find the maintenance number while working out. Working on taking off the 35 I added and then some more.0

A little over a year.0

I was aiming for 100 pounds in a year. I lost 97 pounds. The rest has been over the last 11 months, but I haven't been actively trying to lose for at least 6 months of that time.0
-
I lost 143 lbs in 22 months. Hoping to lose another 57.0
-
147 in 11 months, still want to lose another 28.0
-
Lost 103 since July 2012, but the majority of that (60ish) since the beginning of August 2013. Still have quite a ways to go.0

I've lost 144 pounds so far in 15 months. I've been very inspired by many of the stories I've seen here. I have also posted my own stories and pictures, here are some links:
This is my first year and strategies I used to lose my first 126 pounds:
http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1075986-55-years-old-1-year-126-pounds-lost
This is when I finally became "overweight" instead of "obese":
http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1102293-bye-bye-obesity-400-days-135-pounds-lost-with-pics
And this is after I had lost half my highest weight:

Wishing you success, you can do it! :flowerforyou:0 -
I lost 100 pounds in one year and the other 43 in about 9 more months.0
-
I've lost 104lbs in 20 months. Came off faster at the start but I see this as a longterm lifestyle change rather than a race to the finish and don't worry too much now about having maintenance days for nights out/holidays. I'm hoping losing slower will also be healthier for me now as it'll ensure I'm getting more essential nutrients. Keeping up regular exercise for 20 months has been a massive achievement!0
