I just discovered these videos this morning and it looks like it is a lot of fun! I'd like to give it a shot 5 days a week but I am unsure what kind of schedule to follow?

Anyone here currently working out to her videos and if so what kind of weekly schedule do you follow?

I use her videos, and I walk at least 6 days a week, for a minimum of an hour each time.

I don't use a certain one; I mix them up so I don't get bored. They all sort of blur together after a while.

I don't like the ones that have her using the strength bands or the other bands.

It's great that these work for every day, without worrying about the weather.

I love them.. I just do them whenever I feel like it. I havent been doing them as of lately.. but am getting back to it as of this morning! I usually do the 3 & 4 mile workouts... 2 mile when I am in a hurry.

I love her DVDs. I switch off ....1 day cardio & 1 day strength training. Most of Leslie's DVDs .....bands with walking, weights with walking aren't nearly enough strength training.

She does have a couple DVDs with a good amount of strength training..... her newest one has a 2 mile walk & a strength training workout. I've seen this at Target.

Fairly beginner, but you can always increase reps & weight

This DVD is older, has 2 separate (upper body, lower body) ....strength workouts. Several walks (1 & 2 milers) to mix it up.

I really like this one ....it's programmable. You can pick & choose sections for whatever time you have available.

I see she has a set schedule for 5 days of the week. I think this one will be perfect for me. So when it gets here, I'll try it out and see if i like it, then i'll get her other ones :)

Or maybe what I can do because I'm used to doing cardio is do:

    Mondays - 3miles
    Tuesdays - 4miles
    Wednesdays - 5miles
    Thursdays - 4 miles
    Fridays - 3miles

Adding some general walking on my treadmill too! Ya I think I will do that :). So with today being tuesday I'll do a 4 mile one!

I have the five mile walk and the ultimate five day plan. I ordered them from her website and was able to download immediately to my Computer, IPad, and Iphone using the purple platform app. I really like them as I like to walk outside in the summer time. Since it is cold here now I use the videos to keep up with my walking.
  • My favorite 3 mile walk is the Sleek and Tone. It's fun and more energetic than some of the other 3 mile walks. The time really flies by! The full video is available on YouTube.
