Most recent for me was Up In The Air with George Clooney.

Prisoners: I could really like this, despite its many faults. But then the last 1/4 came along and I started to actively hate the movie.

Law Abiding Citizen: I wanted Gererd Butlers character to win.

World War Z. It was a good movie until the end. Kind of lame.

Really? I loved World War Z! The only thing that annoyed me a little was that it didn't tell you what caused it. The book explains more.

I watched 'Now you see me' the other day and was very irritated with the ending. I don't like films that don't explain things. It's ok if they deliberately leave you guessing, but if they are lazy and just don't bother to explain, then it's written off as a rubbish film to me.

    need to add Melancholia.

    I watched it (tried) today

I guess maybe it didn't qualify for the topic as the very beginning was awesome as was the very end but the middle just SUCKED! The entire 2 hour middle :(

Breakfast at Tiffany's - although I like the movie ending, the book ending was far more true to life.

Elysium was cool but I didn't like what happened to Matt Damon in the end :(.... and Gravity entirely sucked.

Loved World War Z too! Brad did a good job with the acting.

I was okay with that one. While not satisfied, I could appreciate the wonderment!

Gravity set itself up for greatness with that stunning establishing shot in the first couple of minutes and the brilliant cinematography but the film as a whole ended up being over-hyped.
