new! need whole food, real food 80/20 friends/support

Hi!

I am new and ready to start tomorrow morning. I am over any sort of gimmick and really just interested in consuming real foods, whole foods & traditional foods as much as possible.... while still being ok with consuming any and all food so long as I stick to my calories for the day. I am 100% against the stress of being perfect with food quality/choice to the point of stress; life is too short for that nonsense.

I have NEVER counted calories before and it just seems like a realistic way to live and lose weight. I'm over cutting out foods and food groups.

    I feel the same way! I try to consume mostly whole foods but I'm also realistic and don't deprive myself. Feel free to check out my diary - it's open. :)

    So what exactly is a Real food? Whole food? and traditional food?

    I was thinking Paleo at first, but not sure if that's what you're talking about :)
