    I always thought protein farts were just a way of life, a rite of passage.

    Sort of like DOMS, taking painkillers had never crossed my mind until I got on this site.

    Ditch the Whey Protein and use Whey Isolate instead. Ditch the milk and use something that is lactose free, e.g. Almond Milk. Problem solved.

    Hold it in the crockpot until you're near someone you can blame it on--like your kids. Also, my protein farts have been known to make the dog leave the room in disgust.

    It's been happening to me since I bought Quest bars, but it's probably the 17 g of fiber and not the protein. :wink:

    I always have a problem with hills. Looks like a protein shake before my ride will solve it.

    i use vanilla protein powder, which i thought might help the smell, but it doesn't. now they smell like vanilla, but in an offensive way.

    Soy protein may be the culprit. I can't eat anything with soy in it. Fiber One anything will clear a room!

    Whey protein shakes are a primary cause of this. Swap those for other protein sources and chances are your situation will improve.
