I seem to always go over my sugar intake everyday and have gotten in down some but was wondering what snacks either have no sugar or very low sugar. Would love to hear what everyone else eats for snacks.

You could make your own sugar free protein bars or muffins using fruit instead of a sweetener?

Try using sugar free apple sauce in muffins. It can replace fat & part of the sugar.
I usually cut way back on sugar for pie, muffins etc, otherwise they are too sweet for me.:grumble:

I like those coco-dusted or coconut flavored almonds. Gotta watch the fat some but it's mostly unsaturated and only 1 g of sugar per 1 oz serving.

    Hummus
    Veggie Sticks
    Babybel Lite Cheese Circles
    Lean Ham Or Chicken
    Avocado
    Smoked Salmon Slices
Lettuce Leaves Wrapped Around Or Crackers Beneath Any Of The Above

    Popcorn
    Werther's Sugar Free Cream Candies
Peanut Butter Or Almond Butter (the all-natural no sugar added kind)
    Rice Or Popcorn Cakes

If you do an MFP search on the message boards, there is a lot of discussion of the pre-set MFP sugar goals. It's super easy to go over, just with a couple of servings of fruit. Unless you have a health condition requiring you to limit sugars to the amount set by MFP, you may want to talk with your health professionals to find out if it's ok to change your limit... or to limit the sugar intake to refined sugars, not natural ones. :)

Friendship 4% cottage cheese is soooooo good and very high in protein. Nuts are also a great snack.

Cinnamon roasted almonds + an apple tastes exactly like a caramel apple.

I like them better with pink lady or honeycrisps apples.

Laughing cow cheese and low cal crackers like 34 degrees brand. Usually find both in the deli section with party trays and prepared meals. A serving of both has a whopping 85 calories and 1g sugar total...
