I really appreciate your suggestions you guys. :smooched:

I do lots of squats, lunges and jump squats BUT without weights since in the program I am following there is no weights yet maybe I should look into exercises with weights in addition to T25 :flowerforyou:

And yes, Asian flat butt, tell me about it geez! I must say yoga pants does work like magic but I cant wear it on a bikini

Pretty much this. To illicit any appreciable and noticeable muscular hypertrophy of the glutes, you need to lift heavy and eat at a calorie surplus.

In for amazing glute transformation following bulking.

Different stance and angle. I agree, probably some hypertrophy, but it's difficult to appreciate the true difference from these photos.

How is this thread getting more play than my cal question one? Especially since my butt does decidedly NOT look flat from behind. Doesn't that give me any kind of advantage?

you asked a questions about a trampoline?

really? and you are bent about that? I'm all for doing something to get yourself moving- but
1.) diet controls your weight- not working out
2.) if you really want to get after it- go lift some heavy things- and do a real work out- trampolines are great- but well- it's just not the most effective use of your time.

now stop being a five year old about it and go work out.

I've been doing squats most of the time, my legs and thighs look amazing compared to before and my booty looked rounder and cute from the side BUT when I look it from the back it still looks flat :grumble:

I'm trying to lose my last 8.5lbs to hopefully lose my belly fat as of the moment.

I feel your pain and im also told to do more squats....flat as a freaking pancake!!

  • You can see the changes in those pics, but the most noticeable effect is that in the second picture, she has much more of a lordotic curve, compared to the first picture.

Are you seriously trying to hijack someone else's thread because you're not getting the attention you want in yours? Just go do a shameless bump. Bad etiquette, man.

No. Your thread needs to implement more lordotic curves

Have you read ALL of Bret C's ("The Glute Guy") stuff????!??!

Weighted Glute Bridges and Weighted Hip Thrusts have CHANGED MY WORLD!

Squats don't do it for me (because I'm just too quad-dominant and my lazy glutes won't fire!), but this stuff DOES:

Skaters (both speed skaters and figure skaters) have big glutes. I'd suggest doing some cardio in the form of skating or roller blading.

  • If you're going down in weight, you are not going to really see results in the ''growing your *kitten*'' dept. You can, however, lift and shape it. I basically have a whole day at the gym I dedicate to working my glutes. If you have access to the gym, try using the leg press, but hit it single legged; that made a huge difference for me in the muscles targeted switching from dual feet to single legged. Make sure you're also incorporating some dead lifts and squatting as deep as you can go without butt tucking. A few other good ones are cable kickbacks using the dual cable pulley machine, hip thrusts/glute bridges and lunges. Personally, I see the most benefit from single legged leg press, cable kick backs and heavy deadlifting.

Mine looks rounder from the back than it does from the side, darnit. It's the opposite problem, but I feel your pain ;) My glutes are kind of shorter than I'd like, lol. I think I have that perky teardrop thing going on instead of being able to get the roundness on top (from the side view, particularly).

Mine looks round from the back because of the gluteus medius, probably, if that helps you any. It's kind of the ballet dancer muscle, so check out their rears to see what I mean. There are ways to hit that harder if you'd like. Clamshells are #1 for activation I read, and ballet is clearly great at it, too.

If anyone knows how to get a taller butt from the side, let me know, lol. I've got good projection and perkiness, but it's not the same on top of the badonk in that view :D

You can make it rounder but its probably not going to get huge. A lot of it is genetics. I have had to except I will never get a sexy Hispanic butt.
