- Its the first place you go in morning and last place before you sleep
- you want to track your workout in exercise diary and share with your pals
- you drink your water and keep tracking it without fail
- you mentally count calories other people are eating too
- you feel bad if you cannot log in your food diary
- MFP is the first place you share your weight loss even if its 0.5 lbs
- you try balancing your meals so you can enjoy a hearty dinner and still be under calorie goals
- when you buy something the first thing you check is calories
- you obsess over tracking everything you eat
- when your life changes for good
- when you don't miss eating junk food any longer
- when you start seeing your food as number - calories, carbs, proteins, fats
- you don't eat late at night, or you don't eat after completing your diary
- when fitness becomes an important part of your life
- when gallons of ice cream go bad before you can finish it
- you are completely honest with logging in your diary
- you cant sleep until you finish your diary
- when it becomes a part of life without you even realizing it

    - the phrase "starvation mode" drives you insane
    - you realise that you know more than the average person about body composition
    - you have in-depth conversations about the latest cleat technology and squat form
    - people come to you for diet advice, and are amazed when you tell them it isn't some faddy diet

    When you feel like you know someone that lives in another country or in another part of the U.S.A
    You will never meet this person but hope they can keep up with the exercise and good eating.
    When even at the gym you wonder why people are not doing back to back classes
    You look at salty snacks and are disgusted.
  • - when you sneakily weigh food when your visiting friends, and keep mental note of it until I can sneakily get it in the book.

    hahahah.. lovely people .. yes.. almost agree with everyone here.. i am an MFPian!!! the last 3 days.. with the illness.. i was wondering..."i miss my workouts'.. i was never this .. in my past 28 yrs....

    When you have a heart attach when the guy at work tells you he ate a bag of Doritos for dinner (and I'm not talking the little bags, like the full size bag) and then you immediately look up the calorie count on MFP because your brain can't fathom that many calories for "dinner"

    - when you wonder why everyone around you isn't working out with you
    - when you'd rather be working out than listening to your friend on the phone (talk about nothing)
    - when you can guess what your heart rate will be doing certain activities
    - when you are on your last leg but will do another hour of exercise just to avoid those red numbers

    Great list and additions!!

    I don't have a smartphone so I don't use the MFP app...this means anytime I get home or back to my office when I'm working, I hurry to the MFP site and log. My husband thinks it's funny because I "must" get to my computer and then I'm online for less than 5 minutes logging a meal or two.
