Carb suggestions? Pretty please?? :)

Getting enough fat, protein and fiber is no big deal for me... but there really aren't a whole lot of carb-rich foods that I like (aside from cake, donuts, brownies, sugar, sugar, sugar...). I love oatmeal and english muffins are alright... but I'm getting REALLY tired of both of them. Any recipe suggestions with a higher carb content? I'm trying not to exceed my daily suggested sugar intake on most days. Any recipes or links to them would be awesome. Thanks!

Meshashesha: I do like beans. That would be a good way to throw some carbs in.
Pastelraindrops: Thanks so much! I forget that quinoa is a thing. I prefer it to rice SO much. I'm going to find some recipes that use it. :]0 -
My advice... don't worry about the carbs. If you get your carbs from healthy sources (fruits, veggies, etc.), you'll be fine. Carbs are the one form of energy your body does not have to have a lot of (your body can make it's own glucose, but it can't produce fat and protein energy). I'm sure if you have potatoes, quinoa, fruit, rice, legumes, etc. in your diet, that you get more than enough carbs to be healthy without having to worry about "upping" your carb intake.0
