Tracking weightloss

Hi! I am a student living away from home (in a new continent) and I have no weighing scale or measuring tape. How then do I track my progress? I am only here for about 8 months and as a student, I can not afford to get a weighing scale!!!

You could use a tape measure, or maybe some goal pants and try them on every so often to see if you're getting even closer to fitting in them :)
  • Im in Nottingham, I'll go to boots and have a look, thanks!
  • Thats a good idea, thanks! I'll keep one pair of pants specially to track my progress!

I would go with the measuring tape and check it once every 4 weeks. If you do the pants, only try them on once per month. Otherwise it can sometimes be discouraging.
  • Even if you don't want to buy a measuring tape... all you need is a piece of string you can wrap around your waist and add a knot each time you lose!
