Stationary Bike Recommendations?

I am looking to purchase a stationary bike - preferably one that I can fold up and store in my closet, but also has a display screen that shows your pulse. Anyone have any recommendations as far as the type? Which is better? An upright or a recumbent? Does either one have an effect on your butt (I don't want to lose the butt I already have, and if possible I'd like to make it bigger  )

Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions or thoughts on this...

I want to know as well!! someone help us!!
  • I bought a cheap recumbant bike from walmart to start and have had decent success with it so far. It doesnt track my pulse but i got a HRM. It does track speed, miles, time, and its own calorie counter which is actually usually close to my HRM. It doesnt fold but has rollers to move it around. Has 8 levels of resistance. Have close to 600 miles on it so far. As far as how it makes my *kitten* look i cant really say, haha. Heres the link.

I have an elliptical bike. It folds up and was pretty cheap. Got it at wal mart. I love it. A trad. Bike doesnt do much for arms and mine does. I will do hiit sessions on it where I go hard and fast for one min then regular rate for a few minutes. Good luck to ya!!!
