I use Pinterest all the time. It started when my daughter became a vegetarian and I needed recipes that met the requirements that could satisfy her carnivore brother. She is off at college and I have continued to look for and make tasty nutrisiou meals for myself and husband.

If I need a recipe I go to the BBC recipe finder, http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/
    Always something useful!

I love Smitten Kitchen. Recipes are not at all "low calorie" but are consistently fantastic and easy to memorize/customize. They've become my staples. Definitely the best results I've had with a food blog--she really captures the joy of food and cooking. http://smittenkitchen.com/

I also use the Cooking Light website, Epicurious, and the NYTimes "Recipes for Health" section (it does a nice job of sorting by ingredient, and has unique ideas for less common, healthy foods). http://topics.nytimes.com/top/news/health/series/recipes_for_health/

    food.com!
i like how you can search recipes according to what ingredients you want to use
(handy for cleaning out the fridge/freezer!)
  • Tasteofhome.com

Not a designated low-calorie site, but lots of delicious, reliable recipes - most with nutrition facts and diabetic exchange information.

I really like minimalistbaker.com. Their recipes use few and often seasonal ingredients, making them easy to pull off, and they have a lot of different recipes for vegetarian, vegan, dairy free, gluten free, etc!

I should note that I am just now learning how to cook.. so if I successfully make recipes off any website.. it must be a good one

As mentioned earlier: skinnytaste.com is very easy to follow. I also really like budgetbytes.com (not always "healthy" meals, but it has a ton of recipes.. and step by step pictures!)

I use foodgawker.com. I call it "food porn" because they have tons of pictures of delicious meals. All you have to do is click on the picture and its takes you to a food blog with the recipe. It's a great way to find food blogs that you will love to follow. It has lots of categories to go through. I use is mostly to find good vegan food and I love it!

By far the best is allrecipes.com. It allows you to adjust the meals to your tastes adn all the users leave reviews of the recipes, so you can see how they made adjustments.
The only food blogger I follow is brokeassgourmet.com. Her stuff is super healthy and very cheap.
