Veggie Salt in Australia...too good to be true?

Hi, I admit I LOVE my salt, but I know it's not healthy. I have found something in Australia called Health Rite Veggie Salt which to me tastes exactly like salt! It is sea salt and vegetable seasoning and for 1.0g serve is only .39 sodium. For a 100gr serve (heck of a lot of salt) it is only 39 sodium. So basically for the entire 250gr bag it would only be 97.5 sodium. Is this too good to be true? My regular season salt is 250 sodium for 1.0g serve.

So I am hoping this is as good as it seems and for all you salt lovers out there, I would highly recommend this. I am originally from Canada but living in Australia right now. I haven't been able to find this anywhere back home, but I am actually bringing a couple bags back home at Christmas for my Mom and Sister.

Anyone else use this stuff?

Are those sodium measurements in mg or g? I have the feeling it's g and whoever entered it into the MFP database messed up. That's pretty common.

What does the back of the package say?

Sea salt is 98% sodium chloride so basically the same as table salt.
Maybe they have a higher percentage of veg flakes in there but check how many mg of sodium are in a serving (whatever that is).
Sounds like a gram of it has 390 mg of sodium...

Darn it! I knew it was too good to be true. Talk about false advertising. The back of the package says sodium is measured in grams not milligrams. Which means it's actually higher in sodium than my regular salt. WOW.

    Thanks.
