Anyone tried Bill Phillips' regime for the 12 weeks? How did you get on? Just bought the book in a charity shop for £1, and wondering if it was worth the monies.

    probably not worth the money..

funny how it is called body for life, but is only a 12 week program...

eat in a calorie deficit + work out = weight loss over long term

There is some good reading about how and why people gain weight and addressing those issues, but I disagree with the meal planning in it.

Also has some good cardio/strength training to try if you're new at it. The cardio can be a great 20 minute work out the way it's layed out in the book.

It's also somewhat an advertising gimmick for all his other products.

It's a good read, so one pound well spent, in my opinion. Did I do it? No, too structured and complex for me.
