What do you add to your coffee?

  • I add a little bit of semi-skimmed milk (I prefer soy, but my family hates it, so I have soy whenever I'm out!) and a sweetener. Sometimes if I'm out I'll get a shot of flavoured syrup, but only as a treat.

Usually black. I will occasionally (a few times a month) get a flavored latte or mocha.

Whole or semi skim milk. I don't like skimmed milk in coffee. We don't really have all the flavoured creamer things in England.

Either nothing so it's black or turned into a skinny vanilla latte! Goes from virtuous to quite naughty

On special occasions, cointreau, sugar and heavy cream on top. I'd forgotten about that!

Just enough almond milk to turn it a lovely shade of chocolate brown. Of the non-dairy milks, almond has the least intrusive flavor I think.

Usually a little half and half - coffee gets creamier without as much as you need for milk and its subs. If I order a latte, I'll order skim milk. Im on the fence about the syrups - no/lo cal syrups have artificial sweetners which I hate but regular syrups have a lot of calories!

Once in a blue moon, a little bailey's or pumpkin pie liqueur.
