Water burps

I thought that burping was all about gas and such, but I have been burping much more lately since I've upped my water intake. However, I didn't really drink soda before, so it's not like I'm replacing a gaseous liquid with water. Does anyone else burp from water? Am I not actually burping from water but from something else? Just a silly little question I've been pondering.

burps can come from any extra gas that you swallow. it doesnt have to be in the liquid, it could also be from you know, breathing

yep I'm a water burper myself too - I imagine mostly because I tend to chug chug chug when I go for it, because I don't like water as a rule - so I try to down it fast. so I get a lot of air that way.

That must be it. Makes a lot of sense actually! Although I drink from a brita bottle so I wouldn't think I was getting air, but I must be!
