Not a thing. My parents aren't judgmental at all so I never felt a need to hide anything.

    ETA: Taking notes...

I'm Atheist and Liberal. My mom would probably *kitten* herself if she knew either of these things.

yep, pretty sure I could check off pansexual too. Jeez, if my mom knew how to use the internet, I would have a lot of explaining to do.

I don't think anything would surprise my mom. She knows a LOT about me.

My dad might be a little shocked or surprised about some things, but I kind of doubt it. Now but especially when I was younger, I think he always tended to assume I was a bit wilder than I am.

I think a lot of people in my life would be surprised to learn about the lack of romance/intimacy in my former marriage and the huge, wonderful surplus of both in my current marriage. But that is no one's business of course ;-)

    That I'm bi. Never telling.

LOL evidently I'm very bad at hiding things because my Mom learned this long ago stumbling onto my porn stash. Luckily, I have a good open relationship with my Mom and she's very understanding. Not much my parents would be surprised about I've been pretty honest about most everything.
Lol, that's why mine was hidden online. Didn't have a ghost drive at the time :P

You're a youngin this was still VHS days
Okay, there must have been some part of the wall where you could have hidden that. If you really want to stash something, you will carve out areas around your house lol

    Yes.

I'm bi as well...I like lesbians and straight women. We have so much in common!

So many lesbian men these days!

thanks! and yup, im a face and body painter.. one of the few things my parents do indeed know about me... i spend my time painting bodies in bars and events, traveling all over the state for events, i went to freaking mardi gras in new orleans... i find it hilarious how innocent my mom thinks i am.. and i know she does because i have over heard her talking about me lol

My parents would be surprised at my lack of self confidence, and the fact that even though I seem like the boss in every situation I really am not. I'm terrified most of the time.
I think it would surprise them to know that I am slowly changing my mind about them being bad parents (does this happen to everyone?!) And that I think they were just doing the best they could at the time.

I haven't any saucy secrets though- nothing in that regard would shock them- they are been-there-done-that type of people.

They would probably be shocked that I can finally do push-ups :)

    Nothing.... tell her everything.

    +1

My father is dead, but my mother, all 91 years of her, is one of the most "with-it" people I know. If I were gay, or to become a Republican, or just about everything else mentioned so far, my mom would be the first person I would tell. She draws the line at violence, but short of that she would not be shocked. Indeed, back in the early 60's mom could not understand why American were so hung up on people's sexual orientation. She does not speak kindly of a former Vice President over this very issue.

So based on this unscientific survey about 15% of women are bisexual and another 5% are pansexual...maybe more because that's just the percentage that haven't told their parents

  • I'm a very very open minded person, which is why I'm SHOCKED at the amount of things I've had to google on this thread. Pansexual and DD/lg to name a few. I feel so sheltered. Not that I'm at all bothered by either (actually, DD/lg sounds kind of intriguing), just disappointed that I'm apparently so out of touch. :ohwell:
