Just wondering, how many men continue their regular exercise program during the Christmas season and how many women?

I am definitely, I believe everyone should stick to their regular exercising, specially in the Holiday season! Holiday season should be another reason to workout not to stop.0

I'm probably going to up my excersize...going away and have hotel with a gym and pool so would be rude not to make use of them.0

I don't do Christmas day but thats my only day off usually (during the holiday season that is)0
-
I hope to do more as not working for 10 days!0

Why would you stop?0

It will be a bit harder for me over the Christmas-New Years period as I am leaving my city to go to another to spend Christmas with my extended family, and my gym wont be there. But I think I might go running with my aunt and cousin (and any other family members who want to tag along) a few times, I also have little cousins who like having somebody to run around with, and my entire family enjoy an impromptu Christmas day game or badminton, volleyball etc. Plus my cousins have a pool! So I will be being ACTIVE, but I probably wont be doing my usual amount of exercise.0

Will definitely keep up with my walking, and will go to the gym as often as possible with the regular holiday closures!0

Christmas day falls on a Wednesday this year, that's a scheduled rest day for me. So I'll take a rest day.
If Christmas Day was on a Tuesday, I'd be squatting. Friday, I'd be deadlifting.
I train on a progressive schedule (and progress accordingly) - however, my goals probably aren't your goals.0 -
I won't stop. If anything, I'll be amping it up, because I'll be looking to eat more. :bigsmile:0

Probably will add the odd workout because I am at home for 6 days and have the time. I often either run or do a workout video after I get home in the evening and I hate working out in the morning. However, during my vacation I will probably rund during the day the late morning or early afternoon and do another workout in the evening. I am actually looking forward do it and it and I will feel less guilty for indulging on christmas food which I intend to do :happy:0

My gym is closed on the actual holidays, so I will take those days off, but continue my usual exercise on all the other days.0

I'll be taking 8 days off. I'm driving home for Christmas for the first time in 2 years. Every single day is planned out with different family members and friends I have to go see.
I still have the dog who has to be walked every day but I don't count that as 'exercise' really but that will be all I will be doing. 8 days isn't going to completely derail me. When I get back to the UK I'll be back to 5/6days a week.0 -
Last year I walked up a mountain in the morning with the dog and a friend (ok, it was only JUST a mountain and the town we parked in was certainly higher than sea level) and did some weights in the afternoon before the big meal - might as well make the best use of those calories!0

I do! Of course i take a few days off for christmas itself but i dont see a reason to stop following my regular routine0
-
I keep going even though Gym is closed will throw some dumbbells around at home!!!!!0

Yep apart from Xmas day ill be running. Working 9-5 on Boxing Day but ill run afterwards. No different for me it's just another day.
The way I see it the calories won't say 'Its Xmas so that mince pie he's about to eat which is 110 I'll just call it 40 for today' lol so I treat it just the same as any other day!!0 -
Is this a real question?0
-
I might actually do more given the extra time I have...0
-
I won't have the chance to do anything on the day but I intend to step it up a bit on the run up and between Christmas and New Year to help burn off the extra indulgences...
Why would you stop?0 -
I stick to my routine as much as possible. I have a couple days off so I may even amp things up a bit0
-
With the exception of Christmas Day which I will take off, I will do more - so much easier when I don't have to commit 12 hours a day to working and travelling to and from work. For me, this is the easy time of the year. And it will allow me to enjoy the food that comes with Christmas!0

Although I won't have an access to a gym when at my parent's place, I will still go running and do some home workouts, there's enough videos for that. And I've got to keep up with my 30 day ab and squat challenges
I'm not going to let the holidays stop me - even if I don't work out on actual Christmas day.0 -
I never discontinue my workout routine during the holidays. Since the gym will be closed on Christmas, I will likely either run outside (depending on the weather) and/or do tons of body weight stuff. Last year I did hundreds of squats (wide stance, narrow stance, plié) and walking lunges since it was a scheduled leg day.0

Raise hand. Definitely continue exercising during Christmas0

I will be.
Dependent on whether I can sneak into the gym at the hotel just down the road (should be no problem as I work there over the holidays) whilst I am home for Christmas I will be carrying on as normal.
And if I can't there is a football field around the corner where I can do HIIT, LIIS, and body weight work.
This year I want to start the new year feeling better about myself rather than using the holidays as an excuse to do nothing0 -
i keep at it but have a cheat day for christmas.0
