And yet other places are reporting she is on a 1200 calorie diet per Tracy Anderson.

I don't really believe anything written in those magazines, especially weight loss tips.0 -

What?! Are you suggesting that celebrity gossip isn't always factual? I'm shocked!0 -
One thing we all know to be true, there is no telling what the real story is so it's silly to compare any of our personal journeys to her. She appears to struggle to keep the weight off like I do so I hope she's losing it through a healthy diet and lots of exercise. I have heard that she is working out with Kanye's trainer on his tour and if that's true, I applaud her.0

she learned how to create a calorie deficit..who says the Kardashians are dumb?0

Hard to believe, I know.
(FTR - I only read the headlines while waiting in the line at the supermarket, haha. I just happened to remember the 1200 calorie one because, well, MFP)0 -
So I guess the rich and famous know the secret to losing weight - ketogenic diet. .
LMAO, it's not even significantly different in terms of fat loss with a balanced diet holding protein and cals constant. And that way you get more delicious carbs. There is nothing special about low carb or keto unless you like losing lbm or have a medical reason for following it

Breakfast: Omelette or Greek yogurt with berries and slivered almonds.
Snacks: One to two ounces of nuts or a guacamole dip with fresh veggies.
Lunch & dinner: A serving of fish, poultry, eggs, or lean red meat with lots of fiber-rich vegetables prepared with olive oil.
Those would have to be some pretty hefty portions to add up to 2200 calories!
if she is doing high fat it probably is not that hard to hit that number...0 -

It's not hard to hit that number regardless, but when you look at the example of her supposed meals on a normal day it would be.0 -
She also has a ton of money (not really sure how) to pay for a personal trainer. I'm pretty sure she also had some secret work done.
I'm losing weight just fine by doing it quite simply: Creating a calorie deficit.
The human body needs carbs. Just saying0 -

Carbs are the main source of energy. I suppose we don't "need" anything. I like having energy and I feel like carbs are something that cannot be cutout of your diet for a lifetime.0

I need carbs because they're tasty.0

Please, she lost 30 of those pounds post partum just from giving birth. No diet secret to that. Judging from the edema she had, another 10 lbs was water weight that came off. So, maybe another 10 lbs from diet.
My mum gained 70 lbs with me, and lost 50 lbs almost immediately after giving birth to me. It happens.0 -
Here's KK hard at work on her fancy diet.

So I guess the rich and famous know the secret to losing weight - ketogenic diet. Http://www.examiner.com/article/kim-kardashian-maintains-weight-loss-with-low-carb-atkins-diet-and-running
Quote from article:
Kardashian lost 50 pounds just five months after giving birth to daughter North (in June 2013) on a 2,200-calorie-a-day diet that limited her carb intake to less than 60 grams a day.
Kim's diet was a very-low-carb, high-fat ketogenic-style plan known for producing rapid weight loss. Kardashian's daily menu typically looks like this:
Breakfast: Omelette or Greek yogurt with berries and slivered almonds.
Snacks: One to two ounces of nuts or a guacamole dip with fresh veggies.
Lunch & dinner: A serving of fish, poultry, eggs, or lean red meat with lots of fiber-rich vegetables prepared with olive oil.

The body does not need carbohydrates, since glucose can be made from dietary protein.
sounds like a prescription for long term weakness….0 -
