Back in July or August I started hiking some around where I live and occasionally have taken some pics. It's too cold (and occasionally too wet or snowy) for me to hike now, so I went through some of them and added them to an imgur album below.

    That looks like a superb hike - really peaceful and picturesque!

    But I poo-poo your lack of going out in the snow ;)

    I never have taken a picture while running, but here are a couple highlights over the past few years hiking:

    4th of July weekend above Lake Tahoe. 6'-8' of snow above 7000' in early July!

    The day after Memorial Day, I did 15 or so miles along the Long Trail/AT in Vermont. Again, a bit of snow ~6" above 3500' on the north faces, or heavily wooded area.

    EDIT: argh, that last picture is huge and looks awful... Lets see if this fixes it

    Twelve, Scorpio those are some great pics. A bit jealous. Not enough to overcome my aversion to the cold and hike in the snow, but a bit jealous non the less:)

    oooh, darn, those pictures are breathtaking. I want to try hiking on snowy mountain; it's so dreamy! since I live in tropical region, I have never experience it.
    I don't know how to post pics,as soon as I figure out how to, I'll post some of my (tropical) hikes pictures.

    Without the spaces.

    If you use flickr and hit the little share button, the HTML/BBCode they use is totally worthless ;)
    If you use photobucket, they'll give you the correct code on the side, "IMG code"
