My boyfriend and I are doing a movie night tonight and I was just wondering what other people snack on when they go to the movies/stay in and do movie nights. I'm sick of everything I snack on and need a change!
Thanks in advance!

Well, if I've had time to plan that I'm going to the movies so that I had a super veggie fest all day (and hence ate very few calories) I love nothing better than movie popcorn. But man, oh man, is it high in calories and sodium--they don't understand serving sizes AT ALL!
My favorite thing to sneak into the theatre, quite frankly, is raw veggies. For some bizarre reason I love radishes, celery, carrots, etc., in the dark. Maybe they taste better if I don't see them? You have to be careful not to crunch too loudly, but I figure they can't kick me out for sneaking in vegetables, 'cause they sure as heck don't serve them!
Actually, to be perfectly honest, I rarely eat in the movies anymore. I knit. In the dark. It keeps me busy and I don't miss the food. Hence my ID name.0 -
I carry my big purse to movies.
Air pop some popcorn. Bring some almonds, dried fruit, pretzles, fruit snacks.........
Or save some calories and have movie popcorn.

My husband is too protective over our new leather couch - so NO EATING while on the couch.
When I go to the movies I sneak in fruit leathers and some sort of nut (usually almonds). I have heard that sunflower seeds are great at home because they take more effort to eat, so you eat far fewer.
Enjoy your movie night!!!0 -
100 calories bags of popcorn (kettlecorn is my fav)
how about making your own snack mix? handful of mini pretzels, raw almonds, toss in a few m&m's? or whatever ingredients you have on hand0 -
honey wheat pretzels
smokehouse almonds
sunflower seed kernels
eat before the movie.0 -
I don't know but stay away from the freakin twizzlers. Someone posted a count on them at Halloween and I about shot coffee out my nose. They were my stand by :-(0

I take fresh cherries and the 100 calorie pack of dark chocolate roast almonds. Yummy! Just don't leave the cherry pits for someone to clean up!0
