This phrase often comes up in popular culture (TV programmes, movies, etc). Usually uttered by a delusional woman to a man who has little/no interest (or may have done in the past but has moved on).
I have never come across this in the real world and wonder if such people really exist. To think that you can get someone to love you must require incredible self-esteem! (they are always portrayed as vain, delusional and desperate)
So, have you ever thought this, or said it to someone else?
