I would go back to being 18 and knock some sense into myself.

So far this past year has been the best year of my life though.

21 - I was confident, carefree, debt free and truly happy in myself!

ETA - And I hope 27 to 28 will be just as good :-)

I don't dwell on the past and after what I have been through over the last 4 years to regain control of my life, I would not trade one single minute from my past for what I have to look forward to in my future..... I am 43 years young!! :drinker:

    Kind of digging myself now.

Same for me!! I'm in the best shape and health right now. And...I am happily well beyond my 20s! The confidence that comes with having "been there, done that" is amazing!

I have so far liked each age better as I have got to it. My confidence has grown. Except 28. This year has been a little naff... but that isn't down to my age.

The rest of 28 and 29 are gonna rock :-)

I'm not there yet. I was skinny up until about 14, normal and pretty average looking up to 16, then got fat discovering alcohol, attending college and not exercising.

I expect my peak will be around 30-32.

I enjoyed my 30's for various reasons, but being healthy and fit wasn't one of them.

I'm halfway through my 40's now, and leaner, stronger, and healthier than I was through my 30's. Only thing I'd trade now is the wrinkles. Ha! I blame those on many stressful events in my late 30's. Battle scars.

    As you should. Your stunning...

For me its is no question right now(44).

I lay down, knowing that I did my best & wake up the next day eager to smile even more the day before.

    Right effing now!

Well, really I was in my best shape when I was about 22, but I'm getting really close. However, I'm more confident, my skin is finally cleaning up, I'm getting my hormonal anxiety and migraine issues under control and have a major health problem behind me, so 30 is kicking 22's *kitten*, even if 22's was smaller.

This doesn't even count all the awesomness of things like being married to my favourite person, having a great kid, working at my dream job, and having a dog (something I've wanted since I was 18)... Life is really great right now, thanks for asking this. It was a great reminder.

For me it's right now (41). I'm stronger than I was at 20 and lighter as well. I can dive without much weight (or none if I don't have a suit on) and that is really, really nice. I even like the wrinkles, lol.

I'd say that looks-wise I was in the best shape of my life about a year ago, when I was 22. I'd finally gotten to my goal weight (150 pounds, down from 217) and was working out 3-4x a week (mostly cardio). Had a flat stomach and low enough body fat to see some decent muscle definition. My collarbones and even my hip bones stuck out (not in an emaciated way, I just have a big build - it looked natural and good on me)! I was very happy with the way I looked.

But fitness-wise, I think I'm the best shape of my life now, even if I've gained about 20 pounds since then. I can run faster and lift heavier than ever before. I do compound lifts where before I only did isolated dumbbell stuff and then only sporadically. Now I'm methodical and I'm always aiming to get stronger. I'm constantly pushing myself in the gym and I think overall I eat much healthier than I did back then. I'm working on losing the weight I regained and it's a lot slower this time, but I'm happy with my progress and I know that I'll get there eventually. It does suck, but at least I have a lot of experience under my belt this time around. And I love working out now, unlike before when I had to force myself to do it. So I've got that going for me :)

I'm 55 and still kicking butt.
Will I ever be as fit as I was at 36, when I did the first Boston-New York AIDS Ride (bicycling 261 miles in 3 days)? Who knows?
Will I ever again run a half-marathon distance on a treadmill, as I had done at 43? Who knows?
Will I ever again accomplish in other areas what I've accomplished, going back decades? Who knows?
My best age is now because I'm here. I've survived stuff that makes me thrilled to be here, and it has taught me a crapload of lessons.
Heaven knows I still have plenty of learning ahead of me.
Whatever age I am is my best age, so long as I'm still on this side of the grass.

Well, age 27 (my current age) is my best age ever. I'm finally graduating from college (I know, late, but I couldn't afford college when I was younger), I'm getting in shape (I've always been skinny, but I was never in shape) I'm eating better than ever before.

emotionally, physically and mentally I've never been better.

From memory? Pre-puberty. That's when it all went wrong.

From pictures compared to how I am now? I looked pretty good when I was 23. I looked better when I was 16.

Right now. At 47 I'm in the best shape of my life and can appreciate all the gifts of health and family so much more. I'd love to turn back the clock to 25 so I could school my younger self... cool topic OP!

    15. I was a little heavy as a teen, met my 1st bf, lost weight because he said I was too fat and I got down to 130 lbs and a size 3. I got pregnant with my son about 3-4 months later maybe longer. I want my old body back
