Maintained 2.5 years WITH PICS

I dropped 47 pounds from April 2011-September 2011 just by lowering my calories and diligently logging in and sticking to my goals. A year ago I got a gym membership with my husband because I wanted to tone up. We go three times a week and I alternate a week of heavy weights/ low rep and a week of light weights/high rep. I still log my calories in most days. I'm 5' 3.5" and have had two gorgeous little girls (hence the wrinkly "mommy tummy"). I'm posting this picture to let everyone know that as long as you stick with a good routine and are sensible with what you're eating... You should be able to maintain your weight loss!!

I can't see the picture, but great job maintaining! I'm half way through a focused attempt to lose those last 15 pounds and I'm finding that it really is just about keeping track of my calories and burning more than I consume...who knew?0

tried to fix the link for you, but I couldn't get it to work either.
generally, it's without any of the [/url] stuff.0 -

Lost last 15 and getting ready to start maintaining. You're story is inspirational!0 -
make IMG lowercase, and it should fix it.
Congrats!0 -
Great job! I love to hear people actually maintaining. I personally think that's the hardest part. I've lost the weight several times, but then think "I'm cured" and go back to my old ways. Did you exercise at all while you were losing? Thanks for sharing!0

I didn't start exercising until about 6 months after I lost the weight. I'd go for a walk occasionally but nothing really until way later. The weight loss was purely what I was eating.0 -
Thanks for sharing! I know I can lose the weight I need to lose, since I've done it before. My worry is maintaining it. I love these kinds of success stories that remind me it can be done.0

Love this! You look so pretty0

Thanks! You give me hope for the ``post 2 pregnancies belly``, since I have one like yours at 175 and was thinking that I will probably need a tummy tuck after this weight loss.... But maybe not, after all!! :-)0

Wow , great job you look fantastic .. Just wondering what's your maintainance calories like with 3 days of workout ? I'm always just curious to hear people's numbers and do you do any cardio ?0

Amazing...i have the same wrinkly mom belly. I call my stretch marks my battle scars and I earned every one but it's time to tell them goodbye. Keep it up lady. You're setting a marvelous example for your girls. Consistency is key and everything in moderation. :-):-):-):-):-)0

So encouraging! I had 3 boys in 5 years, and have a mommy belly just like yours0

You're doing fantastic!! My belly looks alot worse, but I can't blame it on anyone but myself (no babies). i was just too extravagant with food. Trying to maintain and not go back to the old habits is hard, but you seem to be setting a good example and all.0
