Does anyone else have to or like to monitor their Iron levels?
I have to monitor mine because a month ago I was told my body doesn't get rid of Iron my body receives in blood transfusions (Hemotomachrosis)

Just curious to see if anyone else does the same. :)

I'm anemic so I have to monitor mine as well.
  • What type of Anemia do you have if you don't mind me asking? I have Beta Thalessemia Hemolytic Anemia.
  • i follow mine too. i eat tons of spinach ;)
  • Im vegetarian and was never sure if I was getting enough iron, until I started logging on here. Now I see that I am below the level that they recommend almost every day so I take an iron supplement and try to get more iron in with food as well. I dont really monitor it since I am taking the supplement, but I do check to see how my food based iron intake is doing occassionally
