Hello everyone ,
I'm in need of help with nutrition everyone i talk to is giving me the run around about what is good and healthy to eat some people say pork and red meat is no no and so people say you need meat but i really would like the run down on what is best to eat when trying be healthy about it

If you don't have an allergy or an intolerance to a food (or other health issue), then there is no reason to cut it out of your diet ... That's the first thing ...
As far as what is nutritionally sound ... Whole, minimally processed foods are ideal ... You know, fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, (antibiotic and hormone-free) dairy (any animal: cow, goat, sheep, etc.), eggs, meat (lunchmeat and bacon are cool, just look for nitrate-free varieties), poultry, fish, shellfish, legumes/beans, rice/grains (preferably unhulled/polished). cold pressed oils (olive, walnut, avocado, etc. ...)
Alcohol in moderation ... because, really ... wine is yummy ...
Research suggest that wine and beer are actually healthy in moderation, not the fru-fru sugary cocktails ...
So, 90% of the time eat this stuff, and the other 10% live a little and have a candy bar and a shot or a cosmo ...0 -

I started with nothing from a bag, can, or box. That was hard for me, but I started cooking and eating fresher.0

tigerBite thanks for all the details really is very helpful i guess you can say ive never really care to much on how i was eating in tell i got to almost 300 pounds and had hard time breathing walking up the stairs would kill me i really am loving this site i use it alot in my daily activitys which helps alot and so much support0
