Are you a one sauces fits every occasion type of person? Of do different things call for difference sauces?

Personally Cholula is for bloody mary's. Siracha is best on scrambled eggs (and mixed with ketchup for french fries). Frank's of course for anything buffalo related. So 3. I need 3 hot sauces in my house at all time. And chunky salsa.

Use this a lot, but I do have several others I like. Some green sauces as well.

sriracha is overrated, in my opinion. You can have it as much as you want, I just prefer a few others. Sriracha does work in a pinch, though.

Mango Habenero sauce is a fine condiment. It works on wings, of course, but also on most deli meat sandwiches.
Hot Buffalo - vinegary and hot. It doesn't matter the brand. Frank's or Red Hot seem common, though i don't think they are the best.
Tabasco red pepper/jalapeno/chipotle - all good additions to a weak buffalo flavor. There are alos good to use in marinades and in burgers and stuff.

This is why I use so much hot sauce. I can't make my dishes as spicy as I like because of the damn kids.

I probably have about 12 different hot sauces in my fridge, and one my husband and I made from home grown peppers.

Cholula's and Frank's are really the only hot sauces that I eat. The rest just have a little bit of novelty value.

Spicy doesn't really do it for me. Sadly my stomach disagrees with it, rather not endure the pain of spicy.
Maybe once or twice a year, if that?
  • Tapatio is the one and only for me. Love that it has no vinegar. It makes everything taste better!
