In order to keep an accurate or true recording of the amount of calories, carbs, fat, sugar and protein you intake on any one food item, why are the options limited in serving size/amount? I can do the math but there's no way to actually enter the correct amounts in my daily recordings to know whether or not Ii am staying within my recommended levels of each category mentioned above.

I have found that I have to search for foods that can be measured in Grams. Then, I just weigh it.

Yep. Use a digital food scale and weigh all your food - even the packaged stuff since actual size varies from the labels.

Digital Scale to measure everything that goes into your mouth and if you can't find what you are looking for you can create your own Diary Entry to reflect the accurate measurements. If you use your phone to scan a food, it will also automatically record the amount/serving size. I hope that helps.

Digital scale absolutely (especially for odd things like peanut butter, oatmeal, cream cheese tubs...etc.

As a bonus i'll add that I purchased mine at Bed Bath and Beyond with one of those 20% coupons you get in the mail for only $15. It's definitely not a fancy model (it's the Biggest Loser scale) but it gets the job done on the cheap :)

I got my food scale from Amazon for 14.99 with free 2 day shipping. Measures in ounces, grams, pounds and can zero out the weight of the bowl you are using. Works great!
