Lose 5 pounds in December '13 - ongoing open group

I just started and i read that the first 5 lbs I lost is just water, I do no really count them. My goal is to get down to 165

Forgot to log this in on Friday. Last two weeks of school so it has been crazy. Tomorrow is the last day. YEA!! :laugh: :drinker: So I'll be back tomorrow. I hope tomorrow is better than this week has been scale wise. Saturday was church party, did good but had 6 cocktail wieners I guess the sodium, weight up 0.6lb Sunday morning. Sunday I had a 50th anniversary reception I did the cakes for. So my lunch was reception food, 6 meatballs, veggies, & coffee. So by yesterday weight was 196.2. Back down this morning to 195.0. 12/15 - 201.0 (I don't know why I'm here because I'm not trying - obviously. I hate winter, I love baking, I love comfort foods.)

12/8- Had a good week staying under calorie goal, only one day was over goal by 248, that is a HUGE improvement for me. Here's to another great week ahead!
12/15- Really let myself go downhill this week. I baked, I ate, I feel bad and now I'm dwelling on what I can do to get this train back on the tracks. The weight I am up this week, it's probably more than just water weight, I'm really out of control.
12/22- Did LCHF all week. My joints are already reaping the benefits. I feel really good and my cravings are back in check. My mood is in a much safer place to stay on track through the holidays. Merry Christmas everyone and keep on keepin' on!0 -

I'm changing my goal to just 5 pounds each month. As I get closer to my goal weight, I don't think it's healthy to try to lose a lot too quickly. I want to maintain muscle mass and not lose it.

I'm not sure this necessarily counts as a tradition since basically everyone does it, but I really, deeply love wrapping presents. I put an embarrassing amount of effort into the wrapping. Creative papers and ribbons (or twine, yarn, etc), unconventional methods of tying the ribbons, handmade gift tags. It's a borderline hobby at this point.0 -

12/23 126.8...on the 17th my weight went up almost immediately to this:(. Not a big deal, but now have to keep working towards those goals. +2.4
