I'm aware of the word DIEt, but I mean "hey, this is how I eat" kinda way. For me, it's paprika, maggi, && bbq sauce. Oh, && don't get me started on duck sauce, and sweet and sour sauce...because I WILL drink that by itself.

Bufalo - Chipotle Hot Sauce. This goes with just about everything, especially when added to mayo.

Worth learning, they make a huge difference, and they're very easy.

Sweet Mesquite that I get from Costco. It's my favorite. I cut up enough red potatoes to fill a glass pyrex lasagna dish, melt together a half stick of butter, a quarter cup of honey and 3 tbsp of sweet mesquite, coat the potatoes and then bake them at 400 for 45 minutes or so, and YUMMMMMMM

i just use salt, baby. and oftentimes pepper.
  • I'm all about my spices so I've got tons of them, but the one thing that always sneaks it's way into almost everything I eat is a good Cajun Seasoning like Zatarains. About the only thing that doesn't get that is something sweet.

Jane's Crazy Mixed-up Salt or Pepper.

Sweet chilli dipping sauce, soy sauce, garlic, cumin. I also add about a tablespoon of vinegar to almost every dish, usually a pinch of sugar. A stock cube goes a long way to add easy and tasty flavour. Worcestershire sauce jazzes up almost anything.

If I just had to pick one though, I think it would be dark soy sauce.
I couldn't do without my massive selection of things to make food tasty though.

Adobo, sazon, homemade sofrito (cilantro, green bell peppers, sweet chile peppers, garlic, onions), garlic powder, black pepper, cayenne pepper, homemade mojito (used for a marinade on most meats or a topping for plantains..it's made of salt, pepper, olive oil, white vinegar and oregano), and bay leaf.

    I'm big on flavor..so good.

The seasoning I use alot is called "Slap Ya Mama." It has salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper and garlic in it. A little goes a long way, and there is no MSG in it.
