Recommend me a reasonably priced HRM

I've started getting into this whole exercising lark recently (mainly 30 Day Shred, and just started No More Trouble Zones which is KILLER) and am thinking of investing in a heart rate monitor to better track my calorie output. Can anyone recommend me a good quality monitor that won't break the bank? I am but a poor student!

I like the Polar FT4. I bought mine for 90$ but you will find it cheaper online. Try amazon or a sports store. I find the calorie burn/HR to be fairly accurate and consistent. Good luck!0

I have a wrist HR, the Mio Alpha, that feeds HR data to an app on my iPhone. Much better than chest straps, but pricey($200)0

I left a comment but not sure what happened.
I have the polar ft4 and paid less than $70 on ebay. Now that I have it I would have paid more.0 -
