NSV 1 year after my first run

Last Xmas, I was sitting on the couch after the gift opening binge and decided to do Couch to 5K. So I got off the couch and ran 5K. I hear there is a more sensible program, but I've never been that sensible. I had been walking and doing the elliptical for about 4 months at the time (after a decade of becoming progressively sedentary), so it wasn't completely insane, the the 3.6 mile loop I found took me 45:21--over 12:00 a mile.

Decided last night it would be fun to go and do the exact same loop today and see how it went. Today it took 28:03, or a bit under 8 minute miles.

At this rate, in two more years, I'm looking forward to finishing before I start!
