My name is Brooke and I learned about this website from my cousin Michaela. I'm excited to have a supportive, motivational tool to help me on my way to getting healthier. I consider myself to be a professional yo-yo dieter and I'd like to lose that label ! :flowerforyou:

Welcome and good luck to you! You will find lots of support here, just be diligent about logging EVERY SINGLE THING that you eat and drink, get moving and drink your water.

    Welcome:flowerforyou:
I have been here a little while, but I have a lot to loose so I guess I will be here for a long time. If you have questions, don't hesitate to ask but there are a lot of informative articles on the forums from Banks and others that you need to read in order to understand how this works. The one that helped me the most is

 I'm new here too. I've been counting calories in my head for a couple of years & managed to lose 35 pounds in that time, but I hit a wall. I found this site & have been faithfully logging my meals & exercise everyday. I have lost 3 pounds in the two weeks since I've joined this site! It could be coincidental but I don't think so. Also, when you see the extra calories you can add to your daily intake just by exercising for 30 minutes it motivates me to get up & move. Good Luck...I know you're gonna make it now that you're here.
