I'm new here. My goal isn't to lose wait or to gain it. I just need to eat much better. At 23 I'm lucky because my weight stays the same no matter how badly I eat (which is very badly right now). I don't think I will always be this lucky though and even if I am, eating this way is not good for my health. Being a student I am also very busy and frequently forget to eat. I will not eat all day and then eat half the calories for the day at night. I thought that tracking what I ate and seeing what I am putting in my body daily would help to fix these problems!

This site will help you a lot. For years I've heard - eat fewer calories than you burn - or eat this many calories a day to stay healthy. I don't have the time or motivation to go search for the caloric content of everything I eat. This place makes it easy. I didn't need to lose too much weight, and I'm maintaining now. MFP makes it all easy to see. Oh yeah, and maintaining your weight might change considerably when you're older. Mine did! ;-)0
