Drinking green tea or other teas without milk or sugar is good for you. May help a little. Especially green tea.0

Be careful doing that.. most likely you will only cut mostly water weight if you do lose the weight. That being said a trick I use to use was to not eat anything 3-4 hours before bed. It gives your body extra time to process and burn through the night.0
-
Keep in mind that after a certain period of time you are no longer burning fat when exercising... so exercising for long periods of time is not ideal.. I would suggest 30 minute sessions.. a few times a day if you are able.
Also, eating as much natural food as possible will help with the intake of sodium...
It really isn't ideal, but you may be able to cut 10lbs down.0 -
Blimey can Salt make you hang on to some weight?0

look up the marine commando diet, lose 8lb week, DONT do it for more than two weeks,0

Is that what it is like in the States to get life insurance, that's crazy!!! I don't have any weight requirements here in Canada to get life insurance.0 -

You could cut your head off.
You could do something like the cabbage soup diet which mostly dumps your water weight. I don't recommend this for real results, you will gain the weight back in the next couple of weeks and you will weird out your metabolism.
You know, this post reminds me of High School. My brothers were on the wrestling team and a couple of days before a big meet, they would be sweating it out in garbage bags and spitting in a cup to get rid of water. I guess if you are desperate, you could ask a high school wrestler the latest techniques and tricks for making weight.0 -
Depending on what you weigh now, this may be nearly impossible.
You can definitely lose some water weight but please be careful as any kind of extreme dieting can be very dangerous.
Do not go below 1200 calories, but perhaps change your calorie intake. Cut out wheat and grains, eat veggies, lean meats, fruits and nuts only.0 -
Green tea, no sugar or cream.....and stay away from SALT! And if you drink soda, try to cut that out, it can make a big difference. Try to eat as many raw fruits and veggies as you can...But you could only be getting rid of water weight, which I suppose would be fine if you are just trying to do it for the medical weigh in, but after that, try to be consistent in whatever you did to get to that weight, so that you don't just gain it right back. But just be careful, more than a pound a day can be very unhealthy....0

You might need to look into "weight cutting" or a "cutting diet".... Note, this is NOT something I'm pushing as a long term thing. But, might help to get that scale where you need it so you can get insurance! Bodybuilding.com has good forums with tons of information on this topic. Or you can just google "cutting diet for women" or something like that. Good luck to you!
"""""Weight cutting is the practice of rapid weight loss prior to a sporting competition. It most frequently happens in order to qualify for a lower weight class (usually in combat sports, where weight is a significant advantage) or in sports where it is advantageous to weigh as little as possible (most notably equestrian). There are two types of weight cutting: One method is to lose weight in the form of fat and muscle in the weeks prior to an event; the other is to lose weight in the form of water in the final days before competition.
Nutritional experts will rarely give advice on how to cut weight safely or effectively, and will simply recommend against cutting weight at all. However, many athletes choose to do it because they wish to gain an advantage in their sport."""""0 -
Is it through work? How often is the enrollment? If it's not through work, can you seek another provider? I would recommend losing in a more natural and healthy pace.0

i was thinking to cut my head and boobs off and i would be set!! lol jk thanks for the tips!!0

Try the HCG diet, I lost 8 lbs in 5 days so far. I got my sublingual drops from Sunflower Market, a health foods store. They were $50. Look up Dr. Simeons 'Pounds and Inches' for the diet plan. It's very restrictive - 500 calories a day - and very specific foods, but it works and keeps you healthy while you're doing it. The pregnancy hormone opens up your abnormal fat stores to keep you out of starvation mode. Good luck, and message me with any questions.0

Thank you, no soda for me but salt is my #1 killer, thanks for the tips!!Green tea, no sugar or cream.....and stay away from SALT! I think massive amounts of exercise - like up to 4-5 hours a day. It works for the biggest losers LOL0

Yes im in the states and they can either deny your life insurance or rate you higher because of it and you pay higher premiumsOk so i know its very unhealthy to have that much come off that fast but i need it to!! i have a medical weigh in that can effect whether i get life insurance or not, so its very very important!!

And this won't 'weird out your metabolism' either.......0

Thanks for the tips, i think im going to do all raw diet with (at least) three 30min workouts daily and for all 14 daysKeep in mind that after a certain period of time you are no longer burning fat when exercising... so exercising for long periods of time is not ideal.. I would suggest 30 minute sessions.. a few times a day if you are able.

im willing to try whatever it takes for exercise, my biggest hurdle is what to eat and what caloric intake to maintainI think massive amounts of exercise - like up to 4-5 hours a day. It works for the biggest losers LOL0

Let's put this into perspective. In order to lose that much weight you would need a Daily calorie deficit of 3500 Calories. So let's say you eat 1200 calories a day, and that's a 500 calorie a day deficit you would need to burn 3000 more calories to lose 1 actual pound a day. Not likely to happen as well as not real healthy.
So let's say you do this and get the weigh in you want and underwriting happens. I don't think they will pay the face amount of the policy if you should die during the underwriting. Now, that being said. The best way & safeest way is to follow these rules.
1. Cut out all White sugars, Flour, breads and cereals.
2. Cut out ALL processed foods, Soda's DIet and non Diet.
3. Eat 4-6 smaller meals a day and stay within your Caloric limit.
4. Drink at least 1/2 of your body weight in water. (this is an under used fat buring method. Water has zero calories yet your body still havs to process it and burns calories while it does.)
5. Eat at least 5 grams of fiber at each meal.
6. Workout in the AM right after you get up and on an empty stomach. (eat your 1st meal within 1 hr of your workout completion)
7. Your Cardio workouts should be HIIT Style. (google it)
8. Do not eat 3 hrs before bed.
9 Eat 3 serving of fruit a day but never eat fruit 8 hrs before bed.
10. Eat 1/4 cup of Almonds or Walnuts every other day but never 6 hrs before bed.
That should cover it. Good luck and let us know how you did.0 -
ill try whatever it takes...thanks for the tips!!And this won't 'weird out your metabolism' either.......0

Give me age, height and weight and I'll figure out your caloric intake.0

Not a healthy way to lose but you could try a Cleanse or the Cabbage Soup Diet (no more than two weeks). Just google it.0

THATS PERFECT!!! ILL FOLLOW IT TO A TEE!!!! as for the underwriting i have the life ins in tact im doing an increase in coverage.
you are recommending that i eat all 1200 cals or can i go under?? i can easily live on 800 but i know long term it will shut down my metabolism.Let's put this into perspective. In order to lose that much weight you would need a Daily calorie deficit of 3500 Calories. So let's say you eat 1200 calories a day, and that's a 500 calorie a day deficit you would need to burn 3000 more calories to lose 1 actual pound a day. Under 1200 is not a good idea because you won't get the nutrients you need.
give me age height and weight and I'll figure out your calories for you.0 -

I have read these posts and although I have not tried them all I do know one diet that works very fast. The NO-CARB diet.
You can loose the weight that you are talking about in the amount of time you said. I wouldn't recommend doing this diet all the time, because it gets really hard to follow and you eventually feel very drained and have no energy.
Here is a link:
http://www.ehow.com/how_2282038_lose-pounds-two-weeks-starving.html
Here is the trick: You MUST keep your Carbs to 20 grams per day or less! If you do go over, it is NOT going to work. Believe me I have tried! Even to 25 grams, I stopped loosing the weight,. This diet consists of LOTS of meat, eggs and cheese and no bread or anything of that sort. Read the article in the link, it lays the whole diet all out.
I have lost 11 lbs in 2 weeks before on this diet. It WILL work. The downside.. once you go back to eating carbs, the weight will come back. Good luck! And keep us all posted on how it turns out.0 -
this isnt healthy at all but u said u need to do it for health insurance. Do a body detox to rid u of waste ponds and a few days befor just fast like the wrestlers do before a weigh in thats what my brother has to do and it works for him0
