I am not nearly as knowledgeable as some of those offering support to the new folks.
I still have at least 100 pounds to lose, so you will be helping me too.
What I do have to offer:
if you are really big, I have been there.
I know what it is to like to start off not being able to move or breathe.
I don't restrict my diet other than calories and I like to workout.
I am all about balance. If this is going to last, then you have to make it work, not feel like work. Living life is the real goal.
The two things that make weight loss hard for the morbidly obese are guilt, and gravity.
It takes a while to lessen the impact of both of those.
I can't take a lot of new ones, but send a pm.
