55 lbs to get to goal weight

I have always struggled with my weight, even as a child.

I downloaded Lift, an app that allows you to make and track your goals on a daily basis. I received an email from them about a diet experiment they were doing with 10 common diets. I was assigned the calorie deficit diet, which I truly believe will work well for me. I have tried limiting or altogether eliminating whole food groups in the past (grains) and had no luck.

I am excited about this, and the My Fitness Pal app has been very helpful already!

    Our goals are very similar and I just got back on here after the fisrt time I wasn't too serious about it. So I'm excited to see what this year holds and need some encouragement also.
  • It's really cool that you are getting to participate in the experiment! I am trying to lose 70 lbs. I've already lost 20 since October. I eat around 1300 calories a day and just started circuit training, so hopefully I will see huge improvements in the next few months!
