Question about the diary

Sorry if this is a dumb question (it won't be my first). When using the food diary I'm trying to figure out how to enter a recipe and have the program calculate the nutrition information. Specifically, I made my own salad dressing and I just want to enter in the amount of oil, mustard, vinegar, etc. that I used and have it tell me the info vs. entering in all of the nutritional information for each ingredient on my own. Is that possible?

Enter data of each individual ingredient is possible

When you click on the "Food" tab, there will be another row beneath it that says "Recipes".

Click on Enter New Recipe and go from there. :-)

Use the recipe builder part of this tool or enter the ingredients individually. I cook most of my meals from scratch an have a gazillion of my own recipes...I have pages and pages and pages in my recipe builder on this site.

On a related note, you can do this with meals as well so you don't have to keep entering them over and over if you eat the same meals regularly.

    Nice save.

I like using the recipe builder for all the stuff I make on a regular basis. It saves lots of time and is only painfully slow to enter one time.
